保利筆記 Vol.2 茶室的花瓶:龍泉窯與文物商店的故事 - The Longquan Vase In The Context Of A Tea Room.



杭州文物公司出來的龍泉窯粉青官釉花瓶,是茶室里絕對的主角。出光美術館近期青瓷展覽展出的青瓷大內筒,便是這類背後有孔的作品,十分值得關注,上手。

A Longquan kiln vase in 'Kinuta Celadon' or 'Powder Blue' glaze vase from the Hangzhou Cultural Relics Company is an absolute star of the tea room. The Celadon Vase 'oojitsutsu' of the Nezu Museum, recently on display at the celadon exhibition at the Idemitsu Museum of Art is one such piece with a hole drilled at production, is particularly puzzling and interesting for both scholars and collectors.

本品為三稜狀,從口至足皆塑成六瓣瓜稜式,侈口外撇,圓唇,束頸,長弧腹下垂,圈足外撇。

瓶背面,中央一道竪向接坯痕,靠上位置有一個圓孔,用於懸掛。足底一圈澀胎,色鐵黑。釉層滋潤,乳濁不透明,胎體略厚。此瓶造型優雅規整,通體起稜,口及足呈外撇花瓣式,可參考遂寧市博物館館藏瓜稜瓶,與本品器型、尺寸、釉色相似度極高,此瓶為分兩片模印後再粘接成器,底部和口有明顯的接痕,應為兩尊壁瓶粘成。

這件器物背後有一個與本次拍品一樣的小孔,壁掛花瓶之用。這也說明了在宋代的時候,壁掛花瓶已經開始流行,在明代時期的日本,隨著茶之湯侘寂茶的普及,這類花瓶又在茶室中扮演者舉足輕重的角色。


傳說豐臣秀吉有一次要去找千利休喝茶,利休在秀吉到達之前,把籬笆上的牽牛花全摘了,只留一朵,插在「待庵」茶室中,秀吉來了,十分感動,這是千利休電影裡的第一幕,描繪的,也正是這種壁瓶的使用場景和歷史意義。

On the back of this Nezu piece a small hole is also present for wall-mounting purposes, as in the present lot. This suggests that wall-mounted vases were already popular in the Song dynasty, and that they played an important role in tea rooms in Japan during the Ming dynasty, with the popularity of chanoyu wabi tea led by the school of Sen no Rikyu.


Legend has it that Toyotomi Hideyoshi once went to have tea with Sen no Rikyu, and Rikyu, before Hideyoshi arrived, picked all the petunias on the fence and left only one, which he put in the famous tea room ‘Toan’, and Hideyoshi was very touched upon entering the tea room. This is the first scene of Sen Rikyu's film, which depicts the use of this kind of vase and its historical significance.
