唐 三彩葉形足硯

这件唐代三彩叶形足砚现藏于哈佛大学艺术博物馆，其直径为8.9厘米，高度为4.6厘米。砚台呈圆形，顶部为平坦的研墨面，周围环绕着深槽，下方有十个小巧的叶形足，整体造型精致。砚台采用白色陶土制成，表面施以含铅的淡绿色釉，并点缀有铜绿色和铁棕色的斑点，凸显出唐三彩陶器的典型风格。砚台的顶部和底部未施釉，可能是为了在使用时防止滑动。
此砚台的形制与河南巩义唐代墓葬出土的三彩砚台相似，也与陕西乾陵懿德太子墓（公元701年）出土的三彩砚台形制相近，显示出唐代文人用具的典型风格。此外，陕西西安郭杜唐墓出土的白瓷砚台，其足部为熊形，据称产自河南巩义窑，与此砚台在设计上有异曲同工之妙。
这件砚台最初由纽约的中国瓷器公司于1999年10月出售，随后被加州伍德赛德的沃尔特·塞奇威克基金会收藏，并于2006年部分捐赠给哈佛大学艺术博物馆。该砚台曾在1999年10月6日至28日于纽约中国瓷器公司举办的展览“抽象与现实：从战国到辽代的中国艺术”中展出，并刊载于该展览图录第15号，见第56-57页。
这件唐代三彩叶形足砚不仅体现了唐代陶瓷工艺的高超水平，也反映了当时文人雅士的生活情趣，为研究唐代文化提供了重要的实物资料。

Descriptions
Small ink palette of circular form with top flat surface surrounded by a deep reservoir, raised on ten small feet in the form of acanthus leaves, supported on a short footring; white earthenware with lead-fluxed pale green glaze embellished with variegated touches of copper green and iron brown over molded and applique elements; the top surface and underside of palette unglazed. Sancai ware. From northern China, Henan, Hebei, or Shaanxi province.
